So a couple of weekends ago Grampa Kevorkian was included in the Savannah College of Art and Design's animation showcase, scadAnimate! 2010. This was a huge honor although I wasn't able to attend (I actually didn't know about it until the week after it screened). Here's part of the write up from the SCAD website :
“SCADanimate! is the sixth annual showcase of short animated films made by the students of SCAD," said Jeremy Moorshead, chair of the SCAD animation department. “These 20 films represent the best animated shorts of the year, highlighting the imagination and diversity of animated storytelling from SCAD's Savannah and Atlanta locations. Many of these films will go on to win awards at national and international film festivals. See them here first!”
